Sentrim Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara is a large park reserve in south-western Kenya. Named for the Maasai people and the Mara River, which divides it, it is famous for its exceptional population of game and the annual migration of zebra and the wildebeest from the Serengeti every year from July to October, a migration so immense it is called the Great Migration. Location
Sentrim Mara is located in Maasai Mara Game Reserve, 3 km after Sekenani gate.  The entire 31 tents are spread out in serene surroundings amongst Acacia trees that surround the camp.  The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge area, restaurant and bar.

Access
Maasai Mara is 260 km from Nairobi and takes 5 ½ hours drive by road and 40 minutes by air.  Transfer from the airstrip to the camp takes 20 minutes.

Climate
Mainly humid, with temperatures averaging 26°C during the day and 12°C at night.  Long rains are anticipated from mid April to May and the short rains from November to early December. 

Accomodation & rooms
Each of the spacious tents has a modern ensuite bathroom, hot and cold showers, writing desk and an elevated private balcony for spectacular views of the sunsets and the hills, which have abundant wildlife. The tents have  personal closets, flush toilets and sockets for battery charging for cameras. There is power for lighting in every room, a bathroom and flushing toilets.

Facilities
Dinning area - we have a spacious and well lit dinning area. Meals are served here by our service team. With its own electricity supply ,the camp is well lit in  the evenings , in all tents and public areas. You can  recharge your camera batteries at the power outlet,  ready for the next day's big game photo shoot.
